Gorgeous Strands Natural Hair salon and natural hair products was created by Yolanda Victoria is a native Houstonian with natural hair. Yolanda has worked as a hair stylist in the Houston area for 27 years and along the way she learned a a great deal about customer satisfaction and healthy hair needs which is what Gorgeous Strands was built on.

Yolanda has been natural since 2000 but only wore her natural hair under styles like braids and sew ins. 2009 was the year that Yolanda wanted to start her natural hair journey and quickly realized there were little to no natural hair salons to help on the journey. Gorgeous Strands also transitioned from being a salon that offers chemical services like relaxers to solely focusing on helping those learn and love their natural hair. Gorgeous Strands  is located in the Energy Corridor in Houston, Texas only 4 minutes away from I10. Our primary focus at Gorgeous Strands is type 3 and type 4. Some of our most popular services includes Wash and gos, 2 strand twists, mini twists, flexirod sets and silk press. We also have a stylist in salon that provides services such as boho braids, curly hair sew ins, spring twists and more!
